What’s New?

Hi there! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was super relaxing! I slept in Saturday morning, and by “in” I mean 9:30 and went to a work party Saturday night! On Sunday, Fitz and I took a long walk and re-watched some of season six of Game of Thrones because season seven started last night!!! I put three exclamation points because I. Am. So. Excited.

I realize it’s been a long time since I last posted. I really needed two months of trial and error to figure out a routine that would work for me and the good news is it worked! I’ve finally figured everything out and learned what works for me and what doesn’t, etc. Even better news, I’ve finally started feeling a little more inspired which makes writing a lot easier.

So…what’s new?

Site changes

You might have noticed the site is a little different. The Friday Finds series has its own page because I decided to nix the Favorite Five series. The “about me” page has also been removed. These are not major changes by any means, but I just felt like there was a lot going on and wanted to simplify it a little bit more.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the blog you’ve probably been receiving emails each time a new post goes up, but for some reason MailChimp doesn’t like when I embed third party sources like product widgets so it just leaves this ugly white space where the widget should be, and it drives me crazy!

Say hello to the weekly newsletter! Instead of getting an email everyday subscribers will receive an email every Friday recapping that week’s posts. Not only does it rid of the dreadful blank white spaces, but it also allows you to pick and choose what you want/don’t want to read and it won’t blow up your inbox. I think its win/win for all of us. Thoughts?

If you want to subscribe just enter your email address in the blank bar on the right side of this page or at the bottom of the home page.

Happy Monday!
