 Woah, I cannot believe we are already in May. It feels like we were celebrating New Years five seconds ago. Anyone else? Life over here has been a little crazy lately. New Orleans for a bachelorette party, Tulsa, Oklahoma for a family function, my best friend’s wedding in Fairhope, Alabama, Easter weekend. Needless to say I am seriously looking forward to a  few weekends in Atlanta. The weather has been so nice here, and I am loving spring already (this coming from someone who loves the cold) which is super rare for me.

March and April were not the best months, I didn’t come close to achieving any of the goals I set. I couldn’t even tell you the last time I truly exercised, which is awful, right? I’ve been counting my walks with Fitz as my exercise and I don’t believe that has ever included sweating…so this month it is all about finding a routine that works for me, so I can do all the things I love during the week like blogging, exercising, reading, etc! With that in mind here is what I’m aiming for this month:

Break a Sweat

I feel like I sound so redundant putting this on here, but I need someone to hold be accountable so hopefully this will help. This month I want to find a routine where exercising is something I do daily. I really want to find a workout class I can fall in love with so I think this month will be heavily devoted to trying different classes, finding one I love, etc. I’m completely open to suggestions. What workout classes do you love?

Brand Round Out

When I rebranded the site I was so excited for you guys to see it and as far as overall design goes I am still very much in love with it, but I feel like some of the pages and graphics just don’t really match up. It seems a little all over the place to me. I would really love it to be more consistent. This month I want to work on branded graphics and publishing content I genuinely love and care about. I would also really love to start adding in some video and flipbooks. We’ve been talking about this a lot at work lately, and its got me thinking it’s something I would like to try.

Explore More 

As noted above, I feel like I’ve barely brushed the surface of this city so here’s to May and making this one of my top priorities. My goal is to visit one new place each week, two or three if I’m actually home on the weekends. I’ve started a bucket list of things to do/see in the city which I might do a post on later. I would ultimately like to make a city guide!  Any suggestions for a new Atlantan?

Catch Some Zzzz’s

I have not been sleeping well at all lately. It’s actually started to become a real problem in the past two weeks, and I think it has a lot to do with all this traveling/flying by the seat of my pants thing. I’m super spontaneous, don’t get me wrong, but I’ve got to have some type of routine, especially during the week.

Clean Living 

Also probably contributing to the insomnia is my bad eating habits. Whew, I was on a roll last month.  I’ve got lots of healthy recipes planned for May so this month I should start feeling better. I really want to cut down on carbs and would like to try having one day a week where I am meat free.

    Join class pass and we can try out a bunch of new workout classes together! Having a workout buddy always helps me 🙂
